Regional Representative GCC, Cyprus & Israel
Josef Fischer more than 35 years’ experience in the development of hotels, resorts and various other hospitality assets, having worked a.o. for Maritim, Mövenpick and Hilton. Joseph was directly responsible in the transaction of the Sheraton Moscow and the Richmond Geneva.
He was also board member of numerous travel companies as IDB.
He graduated from Tadmor Hotel Management School, Tel Aviv.
In 2021 Joseph joined HAM and heads our Israel regional office in Tel Aviv providing investment and transaction services to local hotel investors, developers and other stakeholders pursuing tourism investments in the southern Balkans as well as Eastern Europe.
One of Mr. Fischer’s core beliefs:
These days, the changing global demographics is pushing individualism over cookie-cutter hotel brands. The shifting of power from “old economies” to new economies –are all challenges that need to be addressed on a strategic level. The development of new lodging products is required for the new breed of tourists, travelers, customers – known as ‘The Millennials”. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic will further extend and enhance the changes in global travel and hospitality.
